Fall Break Placeholder

Mon Oct 12, 2009, 7:15 AM
Nothing much is happening... I'm on fall break and relaxing at home. I have started some prelim work on a new space piece. Should be cool.

Anyone else see the Redskins/Panthers game yesterday? Sad day, Panthers won.

I've given up...

Sat Aug 15, 2009, 11:31 AM
I simply have too many messages and Deviations to go through.I guess that's what happens when you leave DevART for like 3 months. I spent over an hour whittling down my deviations to 55, but I still have hundreds of messages. I've decided to give up, and wipe them all. Comments and watches I'll keep, but the rest... <click>... gone. So if you're a watcher of mine, and you gave me a fav this summer, this is your thank you. You'll probably see increased activity from me when school starts in about a week.

What!? Sozo updated his journal? And it's huge?!!

Well, seeing as how it's been 5ish months since my last update, I think I'll just write something up. Well, what's going on in my world? Not much, college ended on May 8th for me, and it's cool to be home. I'm currently in the process of getting both my laptop and my 360 repaired. Fun stuff. I got a job working at my old high school, so it'll be nice working in a place where I'm already comfortable and know people. My birthday was on the 26th, I'm 19 now! Honestly, where has the time gone?

I passed 6,000 pageviews a while back, which is cool. One of these months I plan on finishing my spacescape, and when I do it'll be BA and get me bajillions of views.

I've gotten hooked into two free, online, browser based games. The first is Nation States 2 ([link]). It's a government game where you get to control your own little nation, make choices for it, and watch it grow. Pretty fun.

The other is Delta Quadrant: Horizons ([link]). This here is a sexy game folks. I wrote up a review on StumbleUpon (one of my other vices) for it:

Delta Quadrant: Horizons is a free to play, online, browser-based, turn-based galactic domination game. In it, you can work your way up from a simple, single planet civilization to an intragalactic empire. Research new technologies, construct spaceships, advance our planets' infrastructure, and conquer your enemies. The interface is simple but elegant, and each of a game's ~2500 turns lasts 15 minutes. Play as a solo empire, or join with your friends in an alliance of empires to conquer even the strongest of foes. DQ:H is an addictive, involved game that will hook you in. Currently it is in functional beta, with development progressing.

This game is the shizno folks, and a new game begins tomorrow. I (in the guise of the empire of Anacreon) am currently heading an alliance (Hanseatic League). Join, so you can join my allies and I in victory!

Friends, Watchers, and Countrymen!

Mon Jan 26, 2009, 10:07 AM
Well, for the very first time, I've gotten around to listing all my watchers. Hopefully soon I'll be able to add the clubs and other things I'm a part of. For now, I'd like to say a big thankyou to all my watchers and friends. I appreciate your support!

A brief flurry of activity...

Wed Jan 7, 2009, 7:21 PM
So, in the past couple of days I've definitely stepped up the posting of deviations. I've had all sorts of stuff laying around that I haven't posted, and now it's crunch time 'cause I go back to college in a few days, and who knows if I'll be able to get on then. So, until later, enjoy the new stuff I've posted (particularly this [link]). God Bless everybody!

Oh yeah! My new TV! Just before Christmas, I bought myself a nice new 32 in. Sharp LCD HDTV to go in my dorm. Currently it is hooked up to my computer, and it looks great!
